Tense Times – More on Manipulating Time

I think English does have a future tense; it is just not morphologically represented by one word like in present and past tense. Saying that there is no future tense for the English verb means that you assume the morphological synthetic future of Latin to be the standard one, and the English future form a nonstandard way to form tense, whereas the second one simply reflects the English tendency toward the isolating linguistical typology. I believe there is difference between morphological future and the broader category of (future) tense. It is remarkable how the post let us see how languages set the difference in time perception.
